This concert brings together a collection of Scandinavian choral music spanning 600 years. It embraces different styles of music through the ages but with some recurring themes of nature, beauty and heaven above. A repetitive almost ritualistic element runs throughout the contemporary works from this region, making them very distinctive and easily recognisable.
